Challenge
Overview
Evolution Poker’s team wanted to revamp their homepage and application form to be more aligned with their social media image. Our team was asked to create an inviting website for applicant students. For this, we started by designing a new eye-catching animation in the Hero section to represent the immediate evolution of the poker team players when users visit the website.

Testimonials
Current student testimonials were integrated in both video and text to provide prospective applicants with genuine insights into the benefits and rewards of joining the Evolution Poker team.
Popup
To incentivize student applications even further, we created a popup that is shown as the user scrolls the website. We use this as a way to capture the attention of potential students and effectively communicate the opportunity to join Evolution Poker.
Form
A before-and-after style animation was used to showcase how Helio easily applies artistic styles to 3D models.

Highlighting the team
The team behind Evolution Poker is the driving force of its success. By introducing the members, their background and their roles, we humanized the design and showcased the team’s expertise.

Head Coaches
A special visual treatment was given for the most well-known and important members of Evolution Poker: the Head Coaches. Each Head Coach has an ace playing card background, conveying their skill level and ability in the game.

A dedicated biography
Including a biography page for the Evolution Poker team members added a personal touch to the website. By showcasing the team members' expertise, roles and contributions, we build trust and credibility with potential applicants. We also included a video preview for an interview with the team member, which further fosters a sense of familiarity for the website visitor.
Call-to-action
Capturing new applicants
The new call-to-action features a vibrant and attention-grabbing color block, drawing the user's eye and encouraging action. Accompanying the CTA, we have incorporated a powerful testimonial on the side, strategically placed to inspire users to seize the opportunity and apply to join the team.

Custom form
While Microsoft Forms provided the essential functionality, it was missing a more tailored and engaging experience that only a custom form design can provide. The branding and design elements are now aligned with the rest of the website.
